Goal
Conduct dissemination activities throughout the project.

Understanding mathematics anxiety means looking beyond test results alone: it shapes confidence, participation, motivation, and the way learners relate to mathematics over time.

01
Mathematics anxiety can develop early from negative classroom experiences and affects both low- and high-achieving students. Anxiety undermines success in mathematics, and repeated struggles reinforce the anxiety, often reducing confidence and future participation in STEM pathways.
02
Mathematics anxiety influences confidence, motivation, classroom participation, and long-term attitudes toward mathematics. Self-efficacy plays a central role: low self-belief increases vulnerability to anxiety, while strong self-efficacy helps students cope with difficulties.
