MathifyMe Meeting in Pori, Finland
From 20–22 May 2026, the MathifyMe team gathered in Pori, Finland, for a productive three-day project meeting hosted by the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK).
Key Objectives of the MathifyMe Project
The MathifyMe project focuses on three main objectives:
- Raising Awareness: Increase awareness about maths anxiety among primary and middle school teachers.
- Creating a Customisable Digital Game: Develop and promote the MathifyMe Digital Game, integrated with learning analytics to support maths teaching and reduce students' maths anxiety, while increasing their interest in the subject.
- Teacher Professional Development (TPD): Create and encourage the adoption of TPD programmes to equip teachers with the skills and knowledge to effectively use the MathifyMe Digital Game in their classrooms.
