Biography
MathosDragana Jankov Maširević has broad experience in mathematical research, with particular expertise in mathematical analysis, special functions, and their applications in probability theory, together with active involvement in higher education and in promoting mathematics through teaching and activities aimed at the wider public. She is currently a Full Professor at the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, where she is engaged in teaching, research, and academic development. Her research interests include special functions, integral representations, summation formulae, and advanced analytical methods in probability theory and statistics. She participated in the international GAMMA Project, contributing to collaborative initiatives focused on improving mathematics learning and teaching practices. Her professional interests also include teaching methods aimed at reducing mathematics anxiety and encouraging positive attitudes towards mathematics among students. She is an active participant in public events dedicated to the popularisation of mathematics and science.
